Madagascar – Nature Like Nowhere Else
The number one reason people are drawn to Madagascar is its one-of-a-kind, vibrant natural environment. Over 80% of its plant and animal species are endemic, found nowhere else on Earth.
Here, you’ll encounter the famous lemurs, the elusive fosa, colorful chameleons, and a variety of tortoise species.
The island is also home to towering baobab trees and the awe-inspiring Tsingy—dramatic limestone formations that have been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1990.
Madagascar also offers incredible whale watching, pristine forests, stunning white-sand beaches, and a shimmering turquoise sea. -
Madagascar – A Paradise for Adventure Sports
Madagascar is a vast playground for lovers of adventure and the outdoors. Its rugged trails and untamed landscapes are ideal for hiking, trekking, and rock climbing—with highlights like Tsaranoro in the Andringitra range.
Thrill-seekers will also find dedicated spots for quad biking, paragliding, motocross, and much more. It’s a dream destination for anyone craving adrenaline and nature in one place. -
Madagascar – A Rising Economic Hub
Strategically located near the Indian Ocean islands and Southern Africa, Madagascar plays a key role in the trade routes of the Southern African and Indian Ocean regions. It is a growing transit point for goods from Africa, Asia, and Europe.
The island is also known worldwide for its unique Malagasy craftsmanship. This includes the Zafimaniry woodcraft, a UNESCO-recognized cultural heritage, as well as artistry in metalwork, stone carving, textiles, pottery, bamboo craft, and more.
Unfortunately, despite their incredible talent, local artisans often lack the tools and resources to expand and industrialize their work—making it a prime area for support and investment. -
Why Antananarivo?
As the capital of Madagascar, Antananarivo is the heart of the island. It is home to the country’s main government institutions and administrative services, making it the political and administrative center of the nation.
Antananarivo also serves as the economic hub of Madagascar, with bustling open-air markets, numerous shopping centers, and supermarkets. The majority of the country’s commercial transactions—especially those involving key business players and economic operators—take place here.
The city is known for its vibrant atmosphere and dense population, and it hosts the largest Chinese community in Madagascar, along with a wide variety of Chinese products found in local markets.
Antananarivo features many infrastructures built in collaboration with Chinese partners, including the Barea Stadium and the Mahamasina Sports Palace.
It also boasts historical monuments from the era of the Malagasy monarchy, such as royal palaces and former prime ministers’ residences. Visitors will also find beautiful churches and ancestral tombs, echoing the island’s rich feudal heritage. - Sign Up
